Hi all. I have been trying to play catch up since the holidays. I created this painting as a present for my sister and brother in law. The moon reflecting on the surface of the bay. The Monterey bay has many still, peaceful evenings. As I was painting this, I felt a calming wave cover myself, taking a breath from the crazy year that was reaching its end. At the end of each year, we would hope that there will be new beginnings, new challenges to make things interesting, new opportunities. As an optimist, I hope this new year brings happiness and peace to the world. I hope I can create some amazing works of art this year that will do just that. Watch for some new directions in my work, better, more powerful, thought provoking paintings..Happy new year to all of you..
