Hello all. I was preparing for an Art Walk I was participating in , in Los Gatos Ca recently, and I came across this painting that I originally called "Who's looking at who". As I looked at the painting in it's original form, I was thinking it needed some changes and enhancements. I decided to fine tune the fish, add an upper level to the waterfall, enhance the sea fans, add some anemones, remove some fish and add some new ones. I have heard of artists who refuse to change their paintings once its finished but for me, unless its been sold or prints have been made of it, I feel I still have the freedom to change if I want as I'm the one who created it in the first place. The image below shows the way the painting used to be. I just find it "better" now with these changes. So much fun to now see several of my paintings showing up in Google search when looking for tropical paintings, split views etc.. Guess the postings are getting me noticed more out there in the world as now galleries, consultants, and shows are soliciting me instead of the other way around. Hope you all enjoy seeing some of my work and hope you still all keep me in mind when looking for an original piece or print for yourself or someone else. Take care and till next time "Enjoy" .
