| Hi all. Hope everyone is doing great out there. After family of my other half came back from a trip to Hawaii, I saw a photo of them swimming below some falls in a tropical lagoon which inspired me to create this new work. A mother dolphin with her rapidly growing youngster, swim in a full moon lit tropical lagoon. Believe it or not, this painting was quite a challenge. I tried to create the usual 3D image using layers of acrylic with oil enhancements. Lots of shadows and reflections . As some fellow artists will understand, a lot of fighting with the design elements was done to gain a final product that I actually am a bit proud of. This entire painting is from my head to the canvas not using any replication to keep the creativity going. Hope you like it. Till next time.. Enjoy... John Garland Tyson |

Hi All. Just finished this painting which I would consider to be rather simple but with a lot of dimension. I wanted to have the sun subtle, glazing the water. I have visited many tropical island beach lagoons with views like this and it always put me in a mixed feeling of relaxation and renewal. As this new year hopefully brings new and exciting creations of art on my part, I hope you will all enjoy these paintings as the new year progresses. Until next time. enjoy! Hello all. I just finished creating this tropical wave gently landing on a beach somewhere from my mind. As more folks are complaining about the cold and getting ready for the winter, I thought I would create this concept of warmth for them to view. If you have been to Hawaii or Tahiti , you know have wonderful the water is there and how nice it is to stroll along a quite deserted beach. No matter how chilly it gets in your life, a tropic beach warms your heart and soul and instantly takes away all your stress. Enjoy... until next time
