Hi all .. I have been just making sure that all of my paintings look interesting.. so I decided to add a sea bird into the painting .. I think it's kind of a fun way to add a focal point. the more character the better. There are many times in life that something beautiful overshadows something even more amazing.. in this case a coral reef just below the surface teaming with life. Maybe i am a little strange going back to a painting that I thought was finished, but sometimes you just look at something and know it can be better. For me these days, everything that I create is a reflection of myself in one form or another. I am allowed to change as I see fit as long as the piece hasn't been sold yet. Sometimes its just like when I used to have my store and I would move a piece of furniture to a new space on the showroom floor. Suddenly it was the hot ticket, something that had not been seen before. If a painting is stagnant, sometimes its good to put some new life in it.. Should be interesting to see if people remember it from before. Next week we embark on a new coast for inspiration, maybe something a bit more rocky..
