Hi all. Glad to be back after my eye surgery ordeal( a left eye cataract surgery that went wrong with another surgery on same eye a week later to correct issues including a fragmented lens). I was finally able to finish this painting. The concept is coral life at the base of a natural rock arch with an ancient forgotten pagoda. There are so many layers of work on this painting, with multiple fish, a Buddha head , lots of coral, jelly fish etc.. The waterfall at lands end above with sun rays accenting life below. If you look close up , you will discover something new each time you look at this piece. Hope you like it. Get ready for some interesting new posts coming soon. So glad to be able to paint again now that my sight in the eye is gradually coming back.
