Hello all. I just completed a new painting that I am very excited to share with you all. This is my first attempt at painting one of my favorite creatures of the sea. The Manta Ray! The largest manta ray on record was close to 25' across with a weight over 1000 lbs. They are highly intelligent and very curious. Feeding on plankton and fish larvae, they are not dangerous to humans and other fish. They are typically fond of reef environments so again, I created the environment first and then plugged in the manta. Many hours were spent working on the details of this painting , fine tuning the coral, anemones and other fish, to make this painting an experience for the viewer. I truly hope you enjoy it. Take care until the next painting......
