Hi all. The new year has brought me new possibilities with creating some more commissioned work. I have been blessed so far with a second painting project . The painting is designed to be placed on a wall above a headboard in a guest bedroom with an ocean theme. I had to special order this custom size canvas at over 4 feet long. The client wanted a wave with some birds and this was what I came up with. There are multiple levels of color to add a sense of depth to the wave. I worked on the sky for several hours before tackling the water and beach aspect. The birds actually have unique detail for each. A wave of this length is a challenge. Hope you like this one.
